Wow, 2024 blew right past and it's 2025; The new year brings cold weather for our area and gives us all another opportunity to give thanks for all of the blessings in our lives and the many blessings we enjoy as citizens of such a great nation. We continue to remember and offer ongoing prayers and material support for all the people affected by the hurricane destruction in North Carolina and Tennessee, and especially for our new President and all of our elected representatives, that they would be blessed with the wisdom, humility and good judgement they need to govern our country with justice and the rule of law for all and tempered with the mercy of a loving father for each of us. The simple awareness and responsibility of self-government for our own affairs is something that our founding fathers had on their minds when they were putting forth our constitution roughly 200 years ago and those same ideals still apply in our own lives today. We need to live within our means, prepare for the uncertainty of the future and provide for our families while helping those who are less fortunate.
